i went to the stadium , this morning to get tickets for my lads (youth team) for the FIFA game ....

they were not selling any tiickets at all there I asked the FSCG

, so I have tickets f (like last time v Kazahkstan was e10 ) but now they cost e15 EACH! ..! 🙂 FIFA / FSCG corruption!

usual FSCG "FUBAR org" ONE person selling from ONE window at the sports centre, i waited ONE hour ... and when I left there were still hundreds waiting ...

Hard to accept that less than 2 weeks ago Lfc team blew away the "unbeatable" Man. city...

Despite an early goal. the Lfc team seemed to lack energy and I was surprised that Klopp chose MoreNO considerign his lack of games and the form of Robbo at Lb!...

Mane has been out of form since a month, but starts every game...!

Alberto was yet again "missing" when Rodrequez  smatched in a shot from distance and slotted home the 2nd whilst Moreno ball-watched... Can also seemed far too casual allowing players to get into the Lfc box to cause ...  Firm. had the chance to level, but he is not a penalty taker in my opinion... better to have a defender slam the ball home , than Roberto being too fancy ...

1-3 at half time,  and the Ref had watched tv replays to make contested decisions... this makes a farce..
surely the 4th offcial can do that??

the moves had been too lethargic to cause a determined WBA problems, then MO Salah got the 2nd and then Lfc woke up ...with Hendo , Milner & Ings coming on with about 20 mins to go!  (why not have Studge on the bench? ..he isnt transferred..yet!)

attacking the Kop too late and too little creativity, so dont tell that Phil leaving doesnt weaken the squad!  (Lalla still not starting games)

SPORT .... where are the characters... ?  football espcially ruined by commercial forces... fewer & fewer characters on or off the field, as "coaching" grinds the individualism out of the kids... arguably only 2 or 3 "world class" players now,, fans & media give "legend status" with minimum justification

Lfc just paid over 80 MILLION euros for a defensive player, who has yet to complete a full season in the Premiere league, Phil Coutinho, is likely to become the second most expensive purchase FROM Liverpool if Barcas tricks & seduction work (and the lack of moral fortitude, a player who signs a long contract then tries to force a transfer; so TYPICAL  of the "fast food generation:) 

as for the rest of Sport, when young i would know who ... played tennis , boxed, ran, etc , apart from the most famous, they all now fade to grey....

My former colleague recounts some of the strange activities of his Balkan neighbours
which reminds me of a story of a mature man we heard of,, told after the man died
in a suburb of a german city..

He was a stranger in the quiet conservative neighbourhood, and he attempted some friendly contact when he first arrived, with little reaction from the locals,
who all knew each other or were somehow "related"..

Matters got "cooler"& colder for the solo man, after one of the neighbours failed to cheat him over the sale of something.. they expected him to simply pay up and shut up..!!!

They then just shut him out of anything , their parties went on next door,

no one cared if he was distrubed if they made noises, parked their car in front of his house, provocatively so that his visitors could not, they walked past his bedroom windows, like voyeurs  when he had a rare visitors, disturbed his peace and privacy when they wanted
and dumped their rubbish all around him.. they had no shame or care about the "eccentric stranger"
even though he paid his bills and rent on time, and never bothered them or made a mess

...& they laughed  as their children mocked him.

they felt empowered because it was "their land"

eventually no one came to visit, he eventually WARNED people not to come, because of the nasty people who lived there...

He died, and someone, as he had no family, found his memoirs and realised that he was a "Hero"

had saved many peoples lives, helped many even many germans and a biography was printed and  became a high seller. The man was modest and had not promoted his real name , he didnt want publicity, his reasons for helping people were simply good.

however TO THE SHAME of the locals his memoirs ALSO told of their unfriendly actions
and the PUBLISHER told a journalist from a major TV station so that those negative people were eventually publicly shamed and must live with their shame for the rest of their lives or leave to hide away anonymously..

People should be empathic to strangers, after all we are all strangers as some time or other!
